The Corn Palace is in Mitchell, South Dakota, and serves as a multi-use center for the community and region. Stage shows and sports events are hosted in its arena.

Each year, new murals for the exterior walls are redesigned by a local artist, and the theme is selected by the Corn Palace Festival Committee. The murals are made with 13 different shades of corn and other grains.

There are murals around the inside of the area, too, and are equally impressive. Because they are all made from natural grains, it reminds me of the how the floats are made for the Rose Parade!
